Thank you Andy for the Traveler's Gift. I picked up a copy several weeks ago and read it in a day and a half. After I got to the 2nd chapter I couldn't put it down until I was finished. All the great people that David ran into during his travels give us all better directions and solid foundational principles to start each day. The Traveler's Gift is a must read and wonderfully written for everyone to be able to grasp. The book I have in now being read by a good friend of mine. Since the day I finished reading the book the decisions I am making in my own life are greatly effected by the great people and the stories they share in very trying times in their own lives. We all go through trying times in our lives, but when the easiest thing to do would be to quit, surrender, or give up. When we are out of ammuntion , wounded, out numbered. Then we can surprise everyone including the enemy when we go over the wall in an all out "Charge!" That is the way we need to face everyday as we open our eyes, "Charge!" I can not thank you enough for this masterfully written book. You are making a "Difference". You are using your God given talents to the utmost, it really shows too. I am not much of a reader. I still have a book from last Christmas that I haven't even started on. I received this book last night from my sister as a Christmas gift. It is read. This was the easiest book I have ever read. Once I got started, I did not want to stop. I am facing a possible job change, and I could not have read this book at a better time. I have just finished reading this book and it comes at a pivotal time in my life as it did for David Ponder. It was recommended by a friend. How inspirational to keep on pressing forward and not to give up or give in. It will be a source of encouragement as I continue on my journey. After reading this book I can honestly say that I look at life so differently now. My attitude has changed, and my job performance has improved.
